Privacy Policy

Last updated on

This page describes what A 6 SRL does with the personal data entrusted to it — through this site and through the work that follows. The company’s full identification is set out in our legal notice. For any question, or to exercise your rights: info@e-motion.be.

In short

  • The contact and quote forms are not recorded by this site: they leave by email and arrive with us.
  • On the other hand, as soon as a mission is being prepared, your information is entered into our operational application — that is what makes it possible to organise the transport and to invoice it.
  • The newsletter is the only database fed directly by the site. Nothing is written to it until you have clicked the link received in your inbox.
  • This site sets no cookies — which is why no banner greets you.
  • No advertising trackers, no resale, no profiling.

What we collect, and when

You write to us

The contact form collects the reason for your request, how you prefer to be contacted, your first and last name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and your message.

That information is used to reply to you. The legal basis is your request itself: without that data, there is nothing to process.

You configure a quote

The configurator collects more, because a transport is priced on precise elements. It is built so that you decide the level of detail: very little is required, the rest is yours to give.

The service — enclosed transport, open transport, event logistics or storage — and the add-ons you may include: secure storage between two legs, battery and charge maintenance, detailing and cleaning, a staged handover.

The route: collection and delivery addresses, dates — precise, or simply a month if you would rather stay flexible — and, for a return trip or a multi-stop journey, each of those stops.

The vehicle or vehicles. Only the make and the model are required: that is the minimum needed to price the job. Everything else is optional and exists only if you judge it useful to share — vehicle type, whether it runs or not, low ground clearance, out-of-gauge size, gearbox, energy, and your free-form remarks. None of these fields is pre-selected: a value that is filled in is always a choice of yours, never a default we set on your behalf.

Two fields deserve to be flagged separately: the registration plate and the chassis number (VIN). They are optional too. They remove any ambiguity about the vehicle to be loaded and let us adapt the equipment — but combined with an address and a date, they indirectly identify its owner. We treat them as such, and a quote remains perfectly possible without them.

Finally, a free-form note about the request as a whole, if you want to tell us something the fields do not cover.

The configurator keeps what you type in your browser (local storage, key emotion-quote-v2) so that you do not lose a half-completed form. Nothing from that save is transmitted: it stays on your device and you can erase it by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

An assistant helps you fill in the form

You can ask a conversational assistant — ChatGPT, Claude or another — to prepare your request. It sends us nothing: it builds a link that opens our form already filled in with what you described to it. You read it over, complete it, enter your contact details yourself and send it from our page, ticking the consent box yourself.

Three consequences, and they are the ones that matter:

  • No personal data passes through the assistant. No name, no email, no phone: those fields are not in the link, you type them with us.
  • The link carries no plate, no chassis number and no free-form notes. They are stripped out when it is built. It contains only the transport configuration: service and add-ons, route addresses, dates, make, model and the vehicle’s technical characteristics.
  • The link authorises nothing. It does not send, does not create an account, does not commit anyone. Sharing it, losing it or leaving it in a history has no consequence: it opens a form, nothing more. No request reaches us until you have sent it yourself.

The link may mention the name of the assistant that produced it, so that our team knows where the request came from. That mention is declarative and serves no other purpose.

One caveat that is not within our control: what you tell an assistant falls under that assistant’s policy, not ours. We have no access to it and receive from it only the link you open.

We prepare and then carry out the mission

If your request becomes a mission, your information is entered into the group’s operational application: contact details, vehicle, addresses, dates, invoicing elements. That is what makes it possible to assign a truck and a crew, to follow the transport and to draw up the invoice. The legal basis is performance of the contract, then our accounting obligations.

We also take photographs of the vehicle at departure and on arrival. They record its condition and protect both parties in the event of a dispute. They are kept locally on our premises and are used for no other purpose.

A photograph may only be published — on this site, on our social media or in a commercial document — with your explicit agreement. That agreement can be withdrawn at any time, with no need to justify it: write to info@e-motion.be and the image is taken down.

You subscribe to the newsletter

Subscribing happens in two steps. You enter your address; we send you an email; nothing is recorded until you have clicked the link it contains. Until that click, the request exists only inside a signed token, valid for 48 hours.

Once confirmed, the recorded row contains your email address, the language of the subscription, its status, the page it came from, and the proof of your consent: the date of the click, the fingerprint of your IP address — hashed and salted, and therefore useless for finding you — and the identifier of the version of the text you accepted.

The legal basis for the mailings is your consent, and nothing else. That is also why it is withdrawn as easily as it is given: every mailing carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which works without a password, without a form and without writing to us.

Unsubscribing stops the mailings immediately. To respect that choice over time and prevent an import from adding you again by mistake, we then keep a minimal suppression record: your email address, language, a technical identifier, the unsubscribe status and date. The subscription source and date, IP fingerprint and version of the text accepted are erased at the same time. This record is used only to exclude you from mailings; it can only be reactivated if you subscribe again yourself and confirm the new link you receive.

You simply browse the site

Our host records the technical connection data needed for the security and proper operation of the service. We do not access it individually.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies. None for operation, none for measurement, none for advertising. That is also why you had no banner to dismiss on arrival: we have nothing to ask you to accept.

What is stored on your device

One thing only, and only if you use the quote configurator: the save of your form in progress (local storage, key emotion-quote-v2). It exists so that you do not lose what you have typed when changing pages or closing the tab by mistake.

It never leaves your browser, serves no measurement purpose and is not accessible to us. You erase it by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

Audience measurement

We measure traffic to the site with Cloudflare Web Analytics, chosen for one precise reason: it works without cookies and without an identifier. It follows nobody from one site to another, does not recognise a visitor from one visit to the next, and builds no profile. We read totals from it — page views, referrers, device type — never individual journeys.

Because it writes nothing to your device, this tool does not require your consent. It rests on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works and what people look for on it. You may object: write to us at info@e-motion.be.

If that were to change

Adding a tool tomorrow that sets a cookie — an interactive map, a chat widget, an ad network — would oblige us to ask for your agreement beforehand, and to bring back a consent banner. This page would be updated before, not after.

Who else sees your data

We sell nothing, rent nothing and hand nothing over to data brokers. Your information is accessible to our team, and to the providers strictly necessary to the service:

  • Immobilized Vehicles Transfert Management SRL (I.V.T.M., BE 0808.275.957) — a company of the a-move group that publishes and operates the business application used by A 6 SRL, and provides its infrastructure. That is where mission and invoicing data live. Although it belongs to the same group, it is a separate company, bound to us by a processing agreement within the meaning of the GDPR.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting of the site, newsletter database, audience measurement and anti-abuse protection of the forms. Neither the audience measurement nor the anti-bot module sets a cookie or profiles anyone.
  • Resend — delivery of emails: acknowledgements, subscription confirmations, newsletter.

It may happen that a transport is carried out with the assistance of another company in the a-move group or of a fellow carrier. In that case, only the information necessary for performance is passed on.

We also disclose data where the law requires it, or in order to establish and defend our rights in the event of a dispute.

Transfers outside the European Union

Cloudflare and Resend are American companies. The data they process on our behalf may transit through servers located outside the European Union. Those transfers are framed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR — the adequacy decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, failing that, standard contractual clauses.

The site’s pages are served from the data centre nearest the visitor — in Europe for a European visitor. The business application is operated from Belgium, and mission photographs do not leave our premises.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you the right to access your data, to have it rectified, to request its erasure, to restrict its processing, to object to it, to obtain a portable copy, and to withdraw your consent at any time where the processing rests on it.

Write to info@e-motion.be. We reply within the month. None of these requests carries a charge, and you do not have to give a reason for it.

Some data cannot be erased on request while a legal obligation holds it — an invoice, in particular, must be kept for ten years. We will tell you so plainly rather than leave a request unanswered.

If our reply does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — dataprotectionauthority.be.

Finally, one point worth writing down: no decision concerning you is taken automatically. A price, a refusal, a lead time are established by a person on our team. We carry out no profiling.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. The IP address fingerprints kept as proof of consent are salted then hashed, and cannot be traced back to the original address. Access to the business application is personal and limited to the people who need it.

Changes

This policy may change, in particular if we add a tool or a service. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. A change that directly concerns you will be flagged to you.
